SELL USDC

Sell USDC for Cash

Deposit USDC into escrow, set your rate, and receive fiat payments directly to your Venmo, PayPal, Revolut, or bank account. Earn 1-3% spread on every trade.

Selling USDC on USDCtoFiat means depositing it into a non-custodial smart contract on Base, choosing your price and accepted payment methods, and waiting for buyers to fill your order. When they do, you receive fiat directly to your payment app. You keep the spread you set. There is no platform fee for sellers.

Reliable fiat withdrawals are the biggest unmet need for 41% of crypto users, according to a 2024 Brevan Howard survey. Traditional off-ramps involve centralized exchanges, KYC delays, and withdrawal fees that eat into your proceeds. USDCtoFiat eliminates the middleman. You set the rate, you choose the payment method, and the smart contract handles the rest.

How it works

  1. Deposit USDC into escrow. Visit usdctofiat.xyz, connect your wallet, and switch to the Sell tab. Enter the amount of USDC you want to deposit. Your USDC is locked in a non-custodial smart contract on Base. Only you can withdraw unfilled funds.
  2. Set your rate and payment methods. Choose your spread above the market rate. Most sellers set 1-3%. Select which payment platforms you accept. USDCtoFiat supports Venmo, PayPal, Revolut, Zelle, Wise, Cash App, Monzo, Chime, and N26. You can accept multiple methods on a single deposit, each with different currencies.
  3. Receive fiat payments. When a buyer fills part or all of your deposit, they send fiat to your payment account. ZKP2P's PeerAuth protocol verifies the payment cryptographically. Once verified, USDC is released from escrow to the buyer automatically. You keep the fiat in your payment app. The whole process takes 5-15 minutes per fill.
  4. Manage your deposits. Monitor performance in the Deposits tab. Adjust your rate to stay competitive, add or remove payment methods, or withdraw remaining USDC at any time. For hands-off management, enable the Delegate bot.

Tips for selling USDC

USDCtoFiat vs. exchange off-ramps

KYC required No Yes
You set the rate Yes No (exchange sets it)
Seller fee 0% 0.1-0.5% trading fee
Withdrawal fee None (fiat goes to your app) $5-50 wire/ACH fee
Time to cash 5-15 minutes 1-5 business days

The speed difference is the most impactful. Selling USDC on a centralized exchange means trading USDC for USD on the order book, initiating a withdrawal, and waiting 1-5 business days for the bank transfer. On USDCtoFiat, the fiat payment hits your Venmo, PayPal, or Revolut account within minutes.

And unlike exchanges, you control the rate. Exchanges give you the market rate minus their fee. On USDCtoFiat, you set your spread and keep it. Stablecoin settlement volumes reached $27.6 trillion in 2024 according to Visa's On-Chain Analytics dashboard, up from $11 trillion in 2023. The demand for USDC is growing, which means more buyers filling your deposits.

Frequently asked questions

How much can I earn selling USDC on USDCtoFiat?

Sellers earn the spread they set on each trade, typically 1-3% above market rate. For example, a 2% spread on a $1,000 deposit earns you $20 when fully filled. There is no platform fee charged to sellers. Your earnings scale linearly with deposit size and fill volume. Active sellers with competitive rates can cycle their deposits multiple times per week.

Which payment methods can I accept when selling USDC?

USDCtoFiat supports 10 payment platforms: Venmo, PayPal, Revolut, Zelle, Wise, Cash App, Monzo, Chime, N26, and more. You can accept multiple methods on a single deposit. Each method supports different currencies, giving you flexibility to serve buyers in the US, Europe, and emerging markets. Sellers who accept 3 or more methods typically see faster fills.

What is the Delegate bot and should I use it?

Delegate is an automated rate management service that adjusts your deposit's oracle spread based on live Chainlink price feeds, competitor positioning, and 2-hour market analysis windows. It's optional. If you prefer to set and forget, Delegate keeps your rate competitive without manual intervention. It uses EV-based pricing to find the optimal balance between fill speed and spread revenue. You can enable it on existing deposits from the Deposits tab.

Can I withdraw my USDC if no one fills my deposit?

Yes. You can withdraw unfilled USDC from your deposit at any time with no lockup period. The smart contract is non-custodial, meaning only you (the depositor) can initiate a withdrawal. If a portion of your deposit has already been filled, you can withdraw the remaining balance. The only cost is the Base network gas fee, which is under $0.01.
